Purpose

The aim of our building project is to build a new 220 sq metre auditorium to meet the needs of the community as well as the church. 

The proposal is to build a new auditorium on the piece of land that is adjacent to the church.  It is estimated that the new auditorium will cater for a seated audience in excess of 212 people.  The whole building will be given a new frontage which will house a reception area with a warm and welcoming feel. The existing building will be subdivided to include toilets, a catering area, a minor hall and two smaller meeting rooms. 

Much thought has been put into the design in order to meet community needs and to accommodate an easy flow of people in a building that can accommodate more than one group at the same time or provide break out space for a user group. 

Wide consultation has taken place, both within the church and with the local community and the proposal has been well-received.
